We deliver nationwide (all across South Africa) for only R50 for all orders under R550. All orders over R550 will have free delivery.
Your order will take between 3-7 working days* to arrive to you. We will update you personally on a daily basis on the update of your order.
Yes, you will need to show your ID book or smart card, driver’s license or passport. This is for our customers protection to ensure your package is given to the correct person. You will also be required to print your name and signature as proof of delivery.
You can return any item for free to our store at 405 or 471 Church Street, Pietermaritzburg in KZN. Or you can return it via a courier who will collect from you. Please remember that if you are not happy with any of your items in your order, you will have 14 days from date of delivery in order to return these items. Californian Outfitters will cover the cost of if the return is logged correctly with our website or WhatsApp and collected via our courier.
Returning your order to one of our Californian Stores located at 405 or 471 Church Street is totally FREE. If you choose to return your order via the Post Office, you will be charged standard SAPO rates to return your parcel to us – You must get a tracking number so that you are able to monitor the progress of the item being delivered.
If you choose to return your merchandise using our Courier service, a fee of R50 will be applicable.
We do not refund delivery costs, no matter which channel you decide to use to return your merchandise.
- Items must be unworn. If items have been used we will not refund.
- All return items must be in good condition with barcodes / tags still attached.
- You’ll find your proof of purchase form in your delivery bag or you can print it from your order history once you’ve logged in.
- If you return items via post/courier you will need to pay the cost of the return.
- You’ll only get your cash back once we’ve received your items and checked that they’re in good condition. If you’ve paid via EFT, we’ll issue you with a Gift card to the value of your credit.
- Sorry! Due to hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on underwear unless they arrived damaged.
The Courier will try to call you and arrange a date and time that is suitable for you to receive your delivery. After a second unsuccessful delivery attempt the Courier will return your order to us, and you will be credited for your purchase minus the cost of delivery and the cost of returning the package to us.
Should you receive an item that is damaged or soiled you will be requested to take a pic of the damaged/soiled item and fill out a Return Enquiry via our Help page.

It’s always sad when someone wants to cancel their order but we are happy to help! All you need to do is contact our Call Centre agents via WhatsApp . Include your order number and request and we will be able to cancel your order and refund the payment using the original payment method.
It depends on the payment method that you used when placing your order. Here are the different times based on the different payment options:
Credit Card: This will take 5-7 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to reflect in your account.
